Transition
The transition to normal operation takes place when the following statements are true:
- The cause of the damaging event has been eliminated,
- the damage was contained,
- it is no longer necessary for the crisis management team to deal with the damage event.
Checklist for returning to normal operation
The following points should be considered when assessing the consequences of emergency operation:
- When will the crisis management team be dissolved and transferred to the normal line organization?
- What work backlogs have arisen?
- How will employees be informed of the progress of the return to normal operations?
- To whom should the organizational units report their progress during this time?
The information should be documented in the business continuity plan.
