6 Restart of activities

6.1. Time of retsart

The recovery plan (WAP) runs only when:

  • the crisis team has activated the WAP
  • the organizational and technical requirements for the WAP are met

The implementation of the restart is regulated separately for the following types of failure.

6.1.1. Failure of buildings

Time-critical organizational units move to designated alternative locations. Employees who are not involved in time-critical business processes are sent home. The backup location starts up and the primary location starts up again via the following WAP:

6.1.2. IT failure

In the case of complex IT failures, the aim is to fix them as quickly as possible and with the least damage to the company. A comprehensive WAP is available for this purpose:

6.1.3. Employee absence

A recovery plan is not yet available and is expected to be drawn up by the end of 2023.
