2.1. General immediate emergency measures

In an emergency or crisis, the principle must be observed that the protection of life and limb takes precedence over the protection of property. If people are in acute danger, the following principle must be observed: Secure the area, report the event, take care of people.

This includes, for example:

• Immediate first aid measures
• Immediate measures to rescue and rescue the injured
• Immediate action in the event of fire
• Immediate measures to clear buildings and business premises

When carrying out emergency measures, the following principles must be observed:

• Keep calm
• Self-protection comes first
• Protection of life and limb has top priority
• Announcements, especially from rescue workers, must be obeyed
• Superiors are responsible for securing their areas

Rescue workers must be involved immediately in the event of danger to life and limb. Rescue workers can be reached as follows:

2.2. Scenario-specific immediate measures

In addition to the immediate measures mentioned, there are scenario-specific immediate measures that prevent the failure of time-critical business processes or resources or contain the effects of a damaging event.
