2 Immediate action

General immediate emergency measures

In an emergency or crisis, the principle must be observed that the protection of life and limb takes precedence over the protection of property. If people are in acute danger, the following principle must be observed: Secure the area, report the event, take care of people.

This includes, for example:

  • Immediate first aid measures
  • Immediate measures to rescue and rescue the injured
  • Immediate action in the event of fire
  • Immediate measures to clear buildings and business premises

When carrying out emergency measures, the following principles must be observed:

  • Keep calm
  • Self-protection comes first
  • Protection of life and limb has top priority
